hello and warm welcome to rixyroadkill.neocities.org!!
i'm an artist and this is my personal site. there's rlly not much on it (yet) which is why im planning on adding more elements, more pages, all that fun stuff, as i get the hang of html and css. a lot of things are still clunky so feedback helps! for any webdev who actually knows what they're doing, PLZ call me out on anything that seems out of place. it's still very much incomplete and unfinished. cue the obligatory "under construction" gif

that said, ive always admired the diy-like nature of personal sites in the 2000s when internet social networks were just emerging w platforms like myspace, xanga, geocities, and hundreds more that sadly havent made it. god knows how far we could've been creativity-wise if we were still allowed control over how our pages looked
with how stifling it was having to deal with the modern internet chock full of algorithm-driven ragebait, slop, and ai in these past five years, i've decided to join the indie web! woah!
in terms of meaningful engagement, i never really had that much of a social media presence to begin with, my facebook is literally blank, i never interact w anyone on twitter outside of likes, i have an empty tumblr, i dont have insta, my youtube is just playlists, i lurk in every discord server im in. a good chunk of ppl likely think im a bot of sorts. as u can already tell, im not the most social person x_x
there's a lot of things i wanna talk about myself that i should probably save for the about page. it's clogged itself enough! soz for the wall of text! yeowch
